Positive Approaches for Positive Change

with Bob Faw

Wednesday, february 13, 2019

STEELCASE

101 SEAPORT BLDV, SUITE 600

BOSTON, MA 02110

6:00pm – 8:30pm

Positive Approaches for Positive Change: Appreciative Inquiry (AI) continues to grow in reputation, credibility, and familiarity around the world as a powerful method of organizational improvement. Positive Psychology is also burgeoning with its research-driven methods and tools. The Solution-Focused approach is about building upon what works, taking small steps, and utilizing the wisdom of the participants. Our February speaker and facilitator, Bob Faw, has been using these approaches for many years as an external change partner.

Bob’s work on Appreciative Inquiry has enabled employees to be more positive and to energize their culture through this Solution-Focused Training program. The program has blended three positive change approaches into one transformative program, with record-breaking results. This lively learning event will be focused on sharing compelling stories that portray the key concepts, and there will also be plenty of time for audience Q&A.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand the powerful tools and concepts from Appreciative Inquiry, Positive Psychology and Solution-Focus in developing both people and culture
  • Integrate these approaches with “nuts and bolts” learning methodologies
  • Use the practical, transformational tools in daily life to increase resilience, confidence and positivity within a culture
  • Enhance rapport with both internal and external partner relationships

This event will take place at the innovative Steelcase location in Boston’s Seaport area. Come immerse yourself in Steelcase’s approach to creating “work environments that support productive, engaged employees.” The building is located on the corner of Seaport Blvd & Boston Wharf Rd. There is public parking in the building’s basement - using the entrance from Boston Wharf Rd. As always, dinner will be provided.

We hope to see you on February 13. Register Now!
