We all agree that times are tougher than ever, with constant change, the challenges of hybrid and remote work, low engagement (as Gallup reports), and stress levels through the roof. Jim has been deeply exploring these issues, studying their impact, and equipping leaders and teams with the tools to navigate them. His key insight? Good intentions aren’t enough, we need a new framework to redefine how we work.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:

Jim Schaffer helps corporate teams develop a calm focus on producing results, achieving greater focus & engagement and a heightened sense of morale at work — no matter what may be going on around them. Jim is a consultant and workshop leader who brings more than 30 years of sales and management experience to his clients from a career which has included long stints in the software, media and market research industries. In 1990, Jim began offering his popular Path of Mastery seminars in public venues throughout New England as well as for private clients. His work is focused on bringing principles of mindfulness to corporate employees as a way to re-orient their approach to work, develop greater resilience, and be joyfully present in their jobs, resulting in better operating results for the company. His combination of real-world field experience with "cutting edge ideas from 2500 years ago" offers his audiences real tools for transforming the rest of their careers. A 35-year practitioner of Vipassana meditation and longtime student of Eastern philosophy, Jim lives with his wife in the Boston area.
