Disruptive Innovations: How are we learning today?

Thursday, March 10, 2016
6:00pm–8:00pm

Disruptive innovation, a term of art coined by Clayton Christensen, describes a process by which a product or service takes root initially in simple applications at the bottom of a market and then relentlessly moves up market, eventually displacing established competitors. Disruptive innovation happens in all industries and we’re seeing it more and more in our Talent Development space. Our learners are asking us to move beyond e-learning or “blended” learning approaches. They need learning now – not a program that takes 6 months to develop and then rollout.

This program explores the hot new uses of technology and how they are changing the way we all learn. We’ll explore the shifts we need to make as learning professionals to operate in the changed world of Google and YouTube to better meet the “learning in the moment” needs of our learners.

Come join the discussion with our presenters, Steve Albanese, Founder & CEO of LearnBolt and Ed Flahive, Chief Learning Strategist at VideoNitch.
