There’s an old saying that you never get a second chance to make a good first impression, and that’s certainly true in education and training -- as well as with business in general.

You only get one chance to get your training class or meeting started in a positive way, and a good icebreaker can make a world of difference. ATD Greater Boston President Dan Collier and Membership VP Julie Young have delivered hundreds of successful training classes over the years and will be sharing their favorite ice breakers with you.

Better yet, ATD Greater Boston is holding this event in Boston! Imagine that.

Be prepared to participate -- this event WILL NOT be driven by a slide show!! We will invite everyone to join in with the ice breakers and then, after each ice breaker we will all discuss:

• The pros and cons of the ice breaker
  
• The ideal audience size and makeup for the ice breaker
  
• The ideal meeting or class that be a best fit for the ice breaker
  
• Variations on the ice breaker that may also work
  

Whether you need a few new icebreakers for your corporate trainings, corporate meetings, or school classrooms, this event will give you some valuable tools that you can use whenever needed. And just as important, this will be a really fun evening for all. See you in Boston!!
