Virtual event - link in registration email

To provide the best support to our business partners, we need to master the art and science of business. How? By improving our own business acumen. What is business acumen anyway? It’s that “business smarts” that contribute to anyone’s success in the company. As L&D and Talent Management experts, we too need to build our business acumen. This program will help you to understand the big-picture of “everything business” through various lenses. In this program, you’ll learn the importance of why:

  • Understanding the business model is so critical in developing business acumen
  • Data-driven storytelling is so important in developing business acumen
  • Collaborative problem solving contributes to the development of business acumen
  • Knowledge of customers, markets, finance, and strategy is so important in the development of business acumen

Your guide on this special journey is Steven Haines, who will walk you through a multi-faceted model called “The Business Acumen Canvas.” He will facilitate a lively discussion to inspire you to think more holistically about the business, and about your role in helping the business achieve its strategic and financial goals.
