Learning Measurement SIG Presents:
The How’s and Why’s of Embedding Evaluation in your Learning & Development Efforts
With Elham Arabi
September 27, 2024
2:00 PM to 3:15 PM
VIRTUAL WEBINAR - Link in registration email
Research shows that most learning from training is wasted, and learning doesn’t get to be used on the job. This is partly because companies use knowledge to build skills, whereas knowledge doesn’t necessarily enable performance. It is also because of poor evaluation exercises that provide data with little real insight and off-base action steps.
In this session, you will learn about research-backed steps to embed evaluation in your L&D efforts. You’ll explore how to plan a learning evaluation from logic modelling to choosing the evaluation metrics & tools. You’ll leave the session with a research-based proposed solution to learning design & evaluation that is a promising approach to maximize transfer of learning to the workplace.
