ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Manya Chylinski is a speaker, consultant, and advisor who helps organizations build resilient, high-performing teams by integrating mental well-being into leadership strategy. A survivor of the Boston Marathon bombings, Manya understands firsthand how trauma impacts people—and how workplaces and communities often fail to support recovery. Her advocacy helped shape the Post-Disaster Mental Health Response Act, ensuring better mental health support for survivors of mass trauma. She brings a unique perspective on leading through crisis, fostering trust, and creating psychologically safe environments. She emphasizes that resilience grows from the systems we build—through culture, leadership, and meaningful support.
Manya has shared her insights on SXSW, TEDx, NPR, CBS, and top national security and emergency management conferences, bringing a unique perspective that blends personal experience, research, and actionable strategies. She is also the host of Notes on Resilience, a podcast exploring the intersection of leadership, trauma, and well-being. Through her consulting, keynotes, and workshops, Manya equips organizations with real-world tools to navigate crises, retain top talent, and create cultures where employees feel supported and able to thrive.
